Welcome to the online home of Tramese Cattery!

We are located in Templeton, PA which is about an hour north of Pittsburgh, PA. Templeton is a very small town situated along the river. I grew up outside of town on a farm so when I got married we decided to build a house there too.

First let me say that my cats are part of the family and not just pets. They live, sleep and eat with us along with my 3 dogs (Cooper, Goose, and Lexi).

I got started by going to a show to see my friend show her cats. This was the first time I experienced a cat show. A short time later I took a friend to a show because she wanted to find a Maine Coon Breeder. This is when I got to see my first European Burmese. I just fell in love with the breed. It didn't take long until I bought my first kitty and then the fun of showing and breeding my own cats started. I have met some of my dearest friends at these shows.

I plan to keep a small cattery so that I can give each of my cats all the love they deserve. My kittens are raised the same way. They get lots of love and attention everyday by my husband, daughter and myself. My mother visits everyday too. Lets not forget about the attention they get from the dogs.

My goal is to breed beautiful healthy cats with a great personality. I also breed for the best type but health is the most important thing to me. I only breed European Burmese, which means I don't mix them with the American Burmese. They are considered as 2 separate breeds with CFA and I agree with this decision.
